Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Facebook friends and blog post friends.  This is a card made with a rubber stamp set called Every Leaf from Red Rubber Designs.  I love the fall leaves which are just now turning colors in Texas.  They are so beautiful.  God's blessings are so many, and I am thankful.  The sentiment on the card is from Blessings by Our Daily Bread Designs.

This card is from Little Miss Muffet, and must be a retired set now.  It is called Bandit Boy Gavin at Thanksgiving and Agent Bubblegum at Thanksgiving.  It reminds me of our heritage and why our nation is thankful for freedom and blessings in America.  The sentiment is from Sophisticated Sentiments from Red Rubber Designs.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Reindeer Tags by Pickled Potpourri

Time for another Christmas idea.  These are Reindeer Tags by Pickled Potpourri.  Aren't they cute?  I made a card and gift tag using this digital set.  The images are colored with Copic Markers.  The background paper is from my scraps drawer.  I added stickles on the snowflakes and bells around the deer collars, red pom pom balls for the noses, a brad from the Cha Cha hardware collection from Red Rubber designs, and a couple of ribbons for the tag.  Easy!

Christmas Collage by Pickled Potpourri

Christmas Collage is a digi image by Pickled Potpourri.  It makes a lovely Christmas card.  For my card, I printed the image twice on XPress Copic cardstock, colored it with Copic markers (YG07, R35, B28, YR04, BV00, Y15, BG53, G46, G43, B000) sponged Color Box Chalk ink (Bisque) in the background.  I used a Gold Wink of Stella pen around the rim of the stain glass window and then a Gold Leafing pen around the blue matting behind the image and around the edge of the card.  The stained glass window is cut out and popped up over the base image..I cut out the blue matting with a deckle edge trimmer.

This second view shows the shiny gold around the edges.

Sunshine in My Garden by Pickled Potpourri

Sunshine in My Garden by Pickled Potpourri features a watering can with a sunflower in it.  It is a great image for fall with the sweet sentiment, "Wishing you a sunny day!".  For my card I printed the image on XPress Copic cardstock, colored it with Copic markers (BG13, BG18, B0000, YG23, YG25, YG17, YG93, YG97, Y00, Y01, YR12, YR15, YR14, YR16, E13, E15, E18, C5), and then cut out with a Spellbinders die.  I added yellow cardstock to back the image and sentiment, and also a yellow bow.

Cup of Love by Pickled Potpourri

Here is a second card made with Pickled Potpourri's Cup of Love.  In my last post I showed you a card using the kitten.  This little puppy is my favorite.  I made my card with Kirby Teesdale patterned paper by Paper Studio.  The image is printed on XPress Copic cardstock, cut with Spellbinders Big Scalloped Oval Lg die, and colored with Copic markers (BG000, BG01, RV63, RV66, R000, E11, C1, C5)  I backed the image and sentiment with rose colored cardstock and used Crystal Stickles on the collar and parts of the cup.

Cup of Love by Pickled Potpourri

Cup of Love by Pickled Potpourri is such a sweet digital set.  It has a puppy and a kitten to place in the tea cup.  The sentiment comes with the set.  I used Summer by American Crafts for my background patterned paper.  The image is printed on Copic XPress it cardstock and cut out with Spellbinders Labels 10.  I used Copic markers to color the image (YR12, YR15, YR31, R21, BG000, BG01, BG05, Y13, Y15, Y17, C1, C5).  I added a blue bow and Crystal Stickles.

Red Rubber Inspirational #142 - Pumpkin Patch

I made this paper-pieced card for the Red Rubber Inspirational this week called Pumpkin Patch.  I've used a stamp set from Red Rubber Designs, Happy Harvest.  I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and also on scraps of patterned paper.  Then I cut out the pieces and glued them on top the image.  The scarecrow's face and the grass were colored with Copic markers, but all the remaining elements are paper-pieced.  The background sky is made with blue ink, a sponge, and cloud template.  This was a fun fall card.

Now I will give this card in a fall mingle swap with my local stamp group.  The theme for the swap is paper piecing.

Do you have pumpkin stamps?  Come join the Red Rubber Inspirational challenge this week.  It is fun.
