Red Rubber Designs - Travel Scrapbook Layout

Red Rubber Designs has been featuring scrapbooking during June.  I have another layout for you today.  We just returned from a road trip to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Mount Rushmore.  This photo of the Grand Tetons was my favorite scenery shot during the trip, so I've made a 12x12 scrapbook layout with it.

The title "Memories" was stamped with the Red Rubber Design stamp set by that name.  I've also used the Punctuation stamp set and another called Reinforcers.  These make great scrapbook page elements. My background cardstock is from the RRD Kaleidascope Brites collection.  Over it I layered a 9x9 patterned cardstock from the Hip Hop collection.

The journaling box is a stamp from the Punctuation set.

I've used several of the Reinforcers with eyelets from the Toodle Loo hardware around the primary photo.  Also buttons and scrappers floss accent the page.

Here you see the title from Memories and another of the Reinforcers.

Around the top photo I used some of the punctuation marks from Punctuation.

Other supplies:
Palette ink - Starry Night
Blue Tombow journaling pen
blue cardstock, white cardstock
buttons,
Scrappers Floss - dark blue, lime

Do you scrapbook?  Check out all the June release stamps for this month's scrapbooking emphasis at the RRD Store.

Saturated Canary FREEBIE!

Wow!  A FREEBIE digi image from Saturated Canary by Krista Smith.  The only requirement was that it be colored with Copic markers.  This free image was given as part of a birthday celebration for http://copicmarkereurope.blogspot.nl/2012/06/hooray-its-our-birthday.html

I love this little girl with her blanket full of Copic markers.  Thanks for visiting my blog.

Red Rubber Designs - All Mixed Up Album

My project this week is a mini album.  It is an acrylic album with each page a different shape, called All Mixed Up Album.  I have used Lilly Anna cardstock and ribbon and hardware throughout the album.  On the front page, a small acrylic page, I used a bluebonnet and Indian paintbrush photo cut with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Lg.  I placed the photo and mat behind the acrylic and then stamped on top the acrylic using Stazon Jet Black ink and letters from the Distressed Typewriter Bet stamp set.

Here is the second page and a close up.  I used two sayings from Give Praise to Him.

Here is the next page and close up.  Notice that I used tabs for the photos made from the stamp set, Reinforcers.  The saying on the tag is from All Things of Nature.

On the next page I also used Reinforcers, along with three sayings from Be Happiness.

More Reinforcers for the photos and another tag with a saying from Be Happiness.

This page uses tags from the Lilly Anna Patterned Cardstock Collection.  The saying is again one of the quotes from Be Happiness.

I had fun making this All Mixed Up Album and remembering our spring drive in the Texas hill country looking at the wildflowers.  Thanks for letting me share with you.

Red Rubber Designs - Words of Wisdom Keychain Album

All month we are featuring projects with stamps that can be used with scrapbooking or similar album ideas.  My project this week is a keychain album using photos and stamps.

My idea came from a link on Pinterest, where an old gift card, credit card or other plastic card is cut into smaller pieces with holes punched to fit a keychain.  I cut several cards in three pieces and rounded the corners.  I used the RRD Lilly Anna patterned cardstock collection for the background papers on the fronts and backs of each piece.  I printed small photos of my grandchildren to put on the fronts of the small tags.  On the backs I stamped words of wisdom for each child from the Be Happiness stamp set from Red Rubber Designs.  I inked the edges of each piece and punched holes in the top using the Crop-a-Dile tool.  Each piece was then decoupaged with Mod Podge Mat to seal them.    A chain was added to tie them together into a photo album.  I thought this little album could be used on a keychain, a tote bag, or a purse.  It is sort of like a brag album for mom.  I made one for each of my daughter-in-laws to give them for Mother's Day.

Thank you for visiting my blog and looking at my project.

The Scavenger Hunt question on my blog for you to answer is:
How many FREE tutorials are listed on the Red Rubber Designs website?

Now, to tell you about my anniversary layout. The paper I chose is Red Rubber Design's Angelee Patterned Cardstock.  I also used the tags from that set, the Angelee ribbon and the Juliette hardware.

Above you see the 3-D flowers from Happily Grateful used as embellishments.

Below you see that I used the Distressed Typewriter Bet stamp set for the title.

Here are more close ups of the stamped elements used as embellishments.

Red Rubber Designs - Liberty

Continuing the Patriotic theme today, I am featuring the Red Rubber Designs stamp called Liberty.  The sayings on the card are from the United We Stand stamp set.

Since the image is a statue, I decided not to make it colored but just to make it look like the statue.  I used Copic markers YG91 and BG 93.  Using a Hydra Sponge and straight-edge piece of paper I sponged colors around the image with Palette inks L'Amore and Starry Night.  The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.

I stamped the sayings with the same colored ink pads.  Then I cut a frame using the Spellbinders Scalloped Edge Frame and ran a checked ribbon through the loops and tied a bow.  The frame is placed on a red card base that is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  It really doesn't show much, however.

Thanks for checking out my card today!  Wishing you patriotic days as we have finished Memorial Day but approach our nation's Independence Day next month.

This Thursday, June 7th, is the day for new June Releases.  So check the Red Rubber Designs website for all the new releases.  Also the blog will have a fun blog hop with a game and prizes.  See you then.
