All month we are featuring projects with stamps that can be used with scrapbooking or similar album ideas. My project this week is a keychain album using photos and stamps.
My
idea came from a link on Pinterest, where an old gift card, credit card or other
plastic card is cut into smaller pieces with holes punched to fit a
keychain. I cut several cards in three pieces and rounded the corners. I used
the RRD Lilly Anna patterned cardstock collection for the background
papers on the fronts and backs of each piece. I printed small photos of
my grandchildren to put on the fronts of the small tags. On the backs I
stamped words of wisdom for each child from the Be Happiness stamp set
from Red Rubber Designs. I inked the edges of each piece and punched
holes in the top using the Crop-a-Dile tool. Each piece was then
decoupaged with Mod Podge Mat to seal them. A
chain was added to tie them together into a photo album. I thought
this little album could be used on a keychain, a tote bag, or a purse.
It is sort of like a brag album for mom. I made one for each of my daughter-in-laws to give them for Mother's Day.
Thank you for visiting my blog and looking at my project.
