Happy Independence Day!

In honor of our nation, the USA, we celebrate the birth of our nation today.  This pop-up card I made for a monthly swap with my local stamp group.  The front of the card uses background cardstock from the Our Daily Bread Patriotic Collection.  The stamp is from a group of patriotic stamps I had in my collection.  I added a star ribbon in red, white, and blue.

The inside of the pop-up card also has some of the Patriotic Collection cardstock from Our Daily Bread Designs, the star ribbon and more patriotic stamps I had in my old collection.

Have a wonderful celebration of our nation on the 4th of July.

Blessings to all, and God bless America!

The Stamps of Life June Card Kit

Each month the Stamps of Life Card Club has a kit full of product with which to create fun cards.  This is a card I made with the beautiful double-sided cardstocks and accessories from the kit.  I thought it would be fun to share it.  The die cut for the card is one of Stephanie Banard's 3-D Framlet Drop-ins.  It was very tedious cutting out all the pieces, but fun to design and put it all together.

Thanks for coming to my blog to have a look.  Blessings!

The Stamps of Life May 2015 Piggybank stamps

This month's stamp set from The Stamps of Life is Piggy Bank 2 Stamp.  I made a couple of cards with the stamps and die set.  The first card is for a special friend.  I've used patterned cardstock from The Stamps of Life that all blend well together.

This second card is made with several different background patterned cardstocks from The Stamps of Life and various stamps from Piggy Bank 2 Stamp.  They make cutsie cards!

My card uses the May set from ODBD called Spread Your Wings, along with the Birds and Nest dies.  I colored the images with Copic Markers and used the Layered Lacey Squares Dies from ODBD for the sentiment.  The images and sentiment are popped up on the card, and I added a green ribbon bow.  The background checkered paper is from The Stamps of Life Happy Collection.

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #111 - Many Layers

Today's card is for a Little Miss Muffet challenge called "Many Layers"  I've used Sugar 'n Spice Sage as Annie Oakley for my card.  The image is digital and is colored with Copic markers and then layered on a matt and placed over several patterned gingham colors that are also matted.  Floss and a star are added.  Her glasses have Crystal Effects to make them look glassy.
