Challenge #31 - Silhouettes (Or "Anything Goes" for Little Miss Muffet Stamps)

Today I am using a Freebie Bunny from Little Miss Muffet to enter their Silhouette challenge.   This is a digi image that I printed and then cut out using Spellbinders Lacey Circles Nestabilities die.  The background paper is Uptown Girl from TAC, and the saying is a rubber stamp called Somebunny's Thinking, also from TAC.  This makes a sweet card to send in the springtime to a special friend.

Thanks for looking at my blog post.  Have a lovely day!

I used B21, B23, B24, Y35, Y38, and R81.  I used Spellbinders Big Scalloped Squares to die cut the image.  Some scrap print yellow paper and dot blue/yellow paper was also in the background. I added 3 sticker jewels for accent.

This was a fun challenge.  Thanks for taking a look at my blog.

Make It Monday #58- Graduated Backgrounds

Today I am trying a challenge with the PaperTrey Ink blog called Graduated Backgrounds.  It uses various colors of Copic Markers blending them together as the colors change.

The stamp set Up, Up & Away by PTI along with the PTI balloon and cloud dies were perfect for a sky background.  I used Copics BG000, BG01, BG05, BG07, YG13, and YG17.  I colored on Copic XPress cardstock and used textured cardstock from The Paper Studio.
Ink colors used were Color Box Chalks - Lime Pastel, Warm Green, and French Blue.

It is fun to do challenges and try new techniques.  Thank you for visiting my blog.

Blessings to you!

Leaping Leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  This digi image is a freebie from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff at MG Arts and Crafts Store.  I decided to use it this week to celebrate.  The saying is from Mabelle's Cheers to You, a stamp set from The Angel Company.

My image is colored with Copic Markers: YG17, YG13, YG11, C1, C3, C5, C7, E13, E15, E000, E00, E01, YR23, YR24, Y38.  Also I used a yellow Spica pen to make the gold glitsy.

The background printed paper is from Catelyn, a TAC cardstock collection, and the solid Bazzill green cardstock is from the TAC Caboodle A set.

The image is printed on Copic XPress cardstock and cut with Spellbinders  Petite Scalloped Circles Nestabilities.  I cut a circle to back it using a Coluzzle cutting system and added a ribbon.

Have a great day!

Our Daily Bread Shining Light Challenge ODBDSLC100

Since this is the Anniversary Blog Hop for Our Daily Bread, they have chosen a theme of aqua or topaz blue along with a favorite scripture, quote or sentiment.  My card uses a scripture from ODB Scripture Collection #1.  You can find the details of the Anniversary Blog Hop and enter too by March 23rd at 8 a.m. EST.

The background for my card is the Faux Silk Technique with tissue paper demonstrated by Angie.  I used an aqua card base and colored the frame of my Spellbinder's Labels Eleven Nestabilities die with Copic Marker BG07.  I also colored white satin ribbon with the same marker and used three square aqua jewels to set off the color scheme.  The die cut around the scripture is sponged with  Beau Arts Blue Palette Ink.

Make It Monday #57: Colored Kissing

I am joining the Make it Monday Challenge on PaperTrey Ink this week.  The challenge is to create a card using the kissing technique.  That means a background stamp is stamped on a solid inked stamp, and then together they are stamped on the card.

My card uses stamps from The Angel Company, Butterfly Bits and several older backgrounders.  The saying is from PaperTrey Ink's Movers and Shakers Sentiments.  Also I used PTI Kraft cardstock and PTI Paper Basics White cardstock.

The ink is Palette Landscape, Cognac, Raw Sienna, and Violette.  The sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I used a brown Tombow marker to hand draw the butterfly feelers.  The edge of the card is sponged with Palette Jardin Moss.  I added a green print paper for the background and a green ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog to look!

Blessings on your day!

Mabelle's St. Patty's Day Teddy

Happy Birthday, Mabelle.  For your birthday, I made a card with the St. Patty's Day Teddy digi image.  I love this little bear image.  In case someone doesn't know, Mabelle Ramirez Ortiz is the artist who created this digi image.  You can see her other images in her Whimsy and Stars Studio etsy store.

The background paper on my card is from the TAC Hip Hop collection.  I used Spellbinders Lacey Ovals Nestabilities to cut out the image and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the base card. Buttons were added to embellish the card.

The teddy is colored with Copic Markers E11, E13, E15, B14, B16, B18, YG11, YG13, YG17, and for the grounding I used T2, T5, T7.

The saying is from TAC's stamp set called Cheers to You.

This is a blog hop for Mabelle's birthday, so be sure to check out all the other cards created to celebrate her birthday.

Thanks for stopping by!
