Our Daily Bread Designs Key to Heaven


Hi again!  Welcome back for another week with these beautiful stamps and dies from Our Daily Bread Designs. Using the background paper from the Christian Faith Collection paper that has an open hand in the paper, I placed the Key to Heaven sentiment and key die cut from Angel Wings Die Set above the hand.  The corner die is Decorative Corners from ODBD.

Star Spangled Banner by Pickled Poppourri


Happy Memorial Day today!  We honor our servicemen who have bravely served and died for our country.  My card uses a digital image from Pickled Potpourri called Star Spangled Banner.  I printed it on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers and then used some specialty foil paper for the background.

Red Rubber Inspirational #121 - More Precious than Pearls



Mary Anne is leading the Red Rubber Inspirational #121, More Precious Than Pearls, this week.  Won't you join us and show your project that exemplifies this theme?  

My card uses Rose Collage from Red Rubber Designs.  I like this stamp.  It has the background saying and the rose in the forefront all as one stamp.  Not much else is needed to make a pretty card for a birthday, sympathy, thank-you, Mother's Day, get well.  It just fits anything.  I added a row of decorative pearls across the bottom to fit the theme, More Precious Than Pearls.

Our Daily Bread Angel Wings



Hi again!  This week I am again featuring the beautiful die Angel Wings from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I used a glitter cardstock to give the wings extra shine.  With the sentiment about whispered prayers from the ODBD Holy Angels stamp set, I used the beautiful paper with the "It is Well with my Soul" song in the background. These wings are so elegant that they "fancy up" any card!  Love them.

Our Daily Bread Designs Sketch Challenge


Our Daily Bread Designs has a sketch challenge this week.  Here is the sketch:

My card above uses the ODBD Prayer of St Francis stamp as its focus.  I used a patterned paper background from Kirby Treesdale pad by Paper Studio, added some ribbon on top and bottom and a silk flower combo for the top accent.

Fruits by Pickled Potpourri


These two cards feature Fruits, a digital set from Pickled Potpourri.  They are simple designs but can make a pretty card for any occasion.  I've made a birthday card using Elegant Holiday Greetings and a thank you card using Rose Sentiments.  Both cards are colored with Copic markers.  I used Spellbinders dies to frame the fruits and an embossing folder for the background of the second card.

Red Rubber Inspirational #120 - May Flowers


Drea leads the Red Rubber Inspirational Challenge this week with May Flowers.  I've chosen Dotty Flowers stamp set for my card.  I inked the stamps up with one color and then touched the edges of the stamp to another color ink pad to give the multicolor effect.  That is fun to do.  I used an embossing folder for the background card.  The dotted ribbon across the bottom of the card is actually part of the stamp set.  Cool, huh?

Nature's Greeting Butterfly by Pickled Potpourri


Today I have two cards for you using the Nature's Greetings Butterfly from Pickled Potpourri.  I've colored my butterflies with Copic markers, and you will notice that I made them different colors on the two cards.  I like using digital images because they can be sized to any dimensions desired. So on the first card, I made the same butterfly three different sizes.  The sentiment on the first card is from Rose Sentiments, and the one on the second card is from Elegant Holiday Greetings.

Our Daily Bread Guest Designer for May

Milk Can Flowers by Pickled Potpourri



Milk Can Flowers is a great digital stamp set with the can and a variety of flowers to put in the can.  I've made three cards to show you some samples.  Check out Pickled Potpourri for these great stamps.

 The first card I've made with the tulips has a sentiment that comes with the set, Milk Can Flowers.

 


The second card has uses Milk Can Flowers and a sentiment from Rose Sentiments.



The last card uses Milk Can Flowers and a sentiment from Elegant Holiday Greetings.

Red Rubber Inspirational #118 - Mom



 It is May and time to honor mothers this month.  Red Rubber Inspirationals is featuring a challenge called "Mom" this week, led by Kendra.  Won't you join us with your Mother's Day creation?  Here is my card, using Be Lifted and Contemporary Greetings.  I always think of kites in May when the wind is blowing so much in our area. 

We do an annual family picnic on Mother's Day weekend at the park.  It is always windy.  Kites would be fun to fly with the grandchildren!
