Red Rubber Inspirational #126 - Getting Krafty

Mary Anne leads the Red Rubber Inspirational #126 this week, Getting Krafty.  My sample card for this challenge uses Kraft cardstock as the base.  I stamped the background and focal images with stamps from Every Road by Red Rubber Designs using Palette Burnt Sienna Ink.  I added some brown twill ribbon, burlap ribbon and buttons as accents.  I thought this would be a good birthday card for a man.

Secret Code by Pickled Potpourri

Secret Code and Secret Code Words by Pickled Potpourri makes a really fun card.  This digital set has lots of images that can be combined for a cute children's card, or for a man.  I made a birthday card with mine, using an inside birthday sentiment.  The images are all colored with Copic Markers, and then I used Crystal Effects on the magnifying glass to give it reality.  The man's image was cut with a Spellbinders die.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 264

Pickled Potpourri is sponsoring C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 264.  It is a recipe challenge - requires 1 ribbon, 2 embellishments, 3 papers, an image.  I've created a sample for this challenge.

I have used Birthday Bear by Pickled Potpourri.  The three patterned cardstock pieces are from Eat Cake by Paper Studio.  My two embellishments are aqua jewels, and I've used a ribbon to match.  The image is cut with Spellbinders Labels 18 and colored with Copic Markers ( BG53, BG57, E33, E35, E37).

Red Rubber Inspirational #124 - Music in Me

Music in Me is this week's Inspirational theme at Red Rubber Inspirationals, led by Lynda.  I made a card for the challenge using Music Washes, a collage stamp from Red Rubber Designs. I colored the image with Copic markers, mounted it on cardstock and then on some patterned paper background and finished it off with some lace ribbon, and flower and button.

Nature's Greetings Deer by Pickled Potpourri

This week is Father's Day when we celebrate our dads.  My "man card" today is using a digital image, Nature's Greeting Deer, from Pickled Potpourri.  It makes a card for a man for birthday or Father's Day.  I used Spellbinders Labels 14 for the die cut and a birthday sentiment from Contemporary Greetings by Red Rubber Designs.  The image is colored with Copic markers (E13, E15, E17, E27).  The background paper is from my stash of scraps, so I'm not sure about it.  I added buttons for accent.

Rose Sentiments by Pickled Potpourri

 

Rose Sentiments is one of my most often used digital sets by Pickled Potpourri.  It has some nice sayings and this lovely rose.  I've made a congratulations card, placing it on an embossed frame.  The edge of the card is cut on the fold with scissors and then each segment folded down to give an interesting effect.  I colored my rose with Copic markers.
