Easter Chicks candle and waterfall card

Easter Chicks from Red Rubber Designs is the Spotlight Stamp this month.  Each of the Design Team members is using this stamp set for the March blog hop today.  I've made a candle and waterfall card for my project.

On the candle I put all the five images of the little chicken, beginning with the egg, then the cracked egg, the chicken coming out of the egg, and two images of the hatched chick and the saying, "Happy Easter".  A strip of More Mimi Patterned cardstock borders the bottom of the candle.

The waterfall card has each phase of the hatching chicken as the card flips from one scene to the next.

The last scene with the hatched chick has the Happy Easter greeting.

Red Rubbber Designs "Once Upon a Child" Blog Hop

"Once Upon a Child" is the Red Rubber Designs Theme this month.  For the blog hop the Design Team members are all using the stamp set Wonder and Joy.  This is the cutest set of child images and sayings.  I've made two cards.  Here is the first one:

For the little fisherman stamp I used Amberley Grace Patterned cardstock and Amberley Grace gray ribbon, gray and also while cardstock.  I put a fish brad on the end of his pole, and then used Crystal Effects on the bucket and reel to make them shiny.  The image is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Copics (W0, W3, W5, W7, C2, C5, BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18, YR21, YR23, YR24, B00, B01, B13, BV11)

 Here is my second card.

This sweet little girl is lifted in the air by her balloon, perhaps for a celebration, like a birthday.
The background patterned cardstock is Tutti Frutti Patterned Cardstock.  Also I used pink cardstock and white cardstock.  The image is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and cut out with a Spellbinders Mega Classic Scalloped Ovals Large Nestabilities. I used Copic markers for coloring (E57, E59, E55, RV52, RV55, YG23, YG25, Y35, Y38, E00, E01, E13, B11). I used a cloud template and sponged on Starry Night Pallette Ink behind the image to give the illusion of clouds. The baloon has Crystal Effects on it, and I added three large white brads from Lilly Anna hardward.
