YOU Make February FABULOUS! and The Joy of Easter

Today is the last day of February, the last day of TAC's YOU Make February FABULOUS! promotion.  Mischelle McDaniel is the guest designer for the stamp set The Joy of Easter.  It has lots of lovely spring images.  Be sure to see her cards at the Savvy Projects blog.

Here are a couple of cards I made with this stamp set.

I used the free download paper, Robin, for the background of this card, along with pink cardstock from Lilly Anna SWIC and green cardstock from Mia's Cottage.  The pink strip at the bottom is corrugated for texture. And I added Bitty Blossoms and a jewel for accent.  The image is stamped on Copic Caboodle cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

The next card was used for a swap card, and I will probably make some more for my personal Easter cards.  I like the little lamb.  I used gold cardstock from Cha Cha SWIC, embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.  The green cardstock is from Mia's Cottage SWIC, and the image is stamped on Ivory Ultrasmooth cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  Only a simple jewel is addded on the lamb's neck ribbon for accent.

YOU Make February FABULOUS! and Springtime Garden

Another day with You Make February FABULOUS!.  Today Kim Sears is the guest designer, and you will love her beautiful spring cards.  She uses so much detail in her work.  Be sure to see her projects at the Savvy Projects blog.

Here is my card, created with one of the images from Springtime Garden.  Several others had used tags on their cards, and I think they make a nice accent piece.

For this card I used Lilly Anna Soar With It Collection paper and tag from The Angel Company and Premium White Cardstock.  I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder.  The image is colored with Copic markers B91, B95, B99, YG11, YG13, YG17, E31, E35, E77.  I cut it out and popped it up on the tag.  The saying is from the TAC stamp set called The Joy of Easter.

YOU Make February FABULOUS! and Simply Sweet

Debra Miller is the Guest Designer today on Mischelle's Savvy Projects Blog.  Debra chose Simply Sweet, a Level C Hostess Set for her projects.  This set actually has many images in it and she featured several of them.  Her cards are FABULOUS, so be sure to check them out at the Savvy Projects Blog.

Here is a card I made with the wedding card image.  I used Emma SWIC cardstock in the neutral color so that it will go with any wedding colors.  Since today is Valentine's Day, a heart doilie seemed perfect for this wedding card.  I colored the car with Copic markers E50, E51, E53 to keep it neutral also.  A bow from the Emma ribbon collection was the last embellishment.

I colored the image with Copic markers.

           Best Friends
I love this friend image and it will be perfect for special cards for girlfriends.  The background paper is Gentle Beginnings from The Angel Company and the pink cardstock is Lilly Anna cardstock from The Angel Company.  I used Copic markers to color the girls.

Dancing Queen
I've used this image several times for birthday cards.
The Spellbinders Nestabliitles Labels Four was used to mount the image.
And again, I used Copic markers to color.

Another variation using Dancing Queen

Birthday Turtle
This was a digi image I received from Mabelle to do a challenge on the
Crafters Digital Art Center blog.  I used Copic markers to color and the

You MAKE February FABULOUS! and Sew Thankful again

My Sew Thankful Designer cards are the next blog, but I am adding one that I did for a swap.  This was the first time I used this stamp set.  I have friends who do a lot of sewing and it is the perfect stamp set to use to send thank you cards to them especially.

This is a simple card stamped on Ivory Ultrasmooth cardstock and used with Maggie SWIC printed and solid cardstock.  I used the Scor-Bug to add stitch marks to the card, accented with a ribbon and three jewels and colored with Copic markers.

Cup of Love is such a sweet stamp set. This card I made for a
birthday card for my friend's dog. I used a Spellbinder Nestabilitie die
and Copic Markers.

This little Cup of Love card was actually a sympathy card for a friend
who had just lost her gray poodle dog. It was the perfect image. It is colored with Copics.

I created a scene with the stamp set and colored it with Copic markers and used White Liquid Applique on the mounntain tops.  The wheels of the car and camper are large eyelets and the windows are made glassy with Glossy Accents.

YOU Make February FABULOUS! True Beauty

Today in the YOU Make February FABULOUS! promotion by The Angel Company, Christine Pennington is the guest artist on Mischelle's Savvy Projects Blog.  Be sure to check out her fabulous cards.  I am joining the blog hop with Christine and have added this card made with her stamp choice for today, True Beauty (T3047).

For this card I used Miss Moxie SWIC printed cardstock and Miss Moxie solid cardstock along with White Caboodle cardstock.  The image is True Beauty (T3047) and the saying is Blessings to You (TB3240), both stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 5 was used for the shape behind the butterfly image.  I colored the butterfly with Copic Markers Y35, YG03, YG06, R29, R59, and R85.  The white organza ribbon was colored with Copic marker Y35.

To give dimension to the card, I popped up the cut-out background and also the butterfly on top. I think it makes the butterfly look like he is flying.

Thanks, Christine, for your inspiration with the True Beauty butterflly set.
