Flower Bet by Red Rubber Designs

Today I am showing a project I made with the Flower Bet alphabet stamp set by Red Rubber Designs.  This is a beautiful alphabet set with lots of possibilities.  My project is a framed piece of home decor.  The background paper is Genevieve.  Each letter was stamped separately on white cardstock with purple pigment ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and a heat tool.  Then I used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Squares to cut them out.  I intended to leave the letters separate, but they did not fit my frame so I had to slightly overlap them.  This could be stood on an easle, as shown, or hung on the wall.  Hope you like it.  Maybe it gives you an idea of something to do with alpha stamps.

Thanks for looking at my blog today.  Blessings to you!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Tags or Gifts

Welcome to another Little Miss Muffet challenge.  This one is for tags or gifts.  I've combined the two to make a gift with a tag from one of the new releases called Snowballs.  He's a cute little winter boy.  Colored blue like the snowball candy, he makes a fun tag.

Here's a close up of the image.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Supplies:
Copics (BG01, BG05, BG07, BG09, YG03, YG07, YG09, E00, E01, E13, E15, C2, C3, C5, C7)
White Liquid Applique for snowballs
Two blue ribbons
Two blue cardstocks
hole punch
jar and candy

Please join us for the tags or gifts challenge.  You may use any stamp, but if you use a Little Miss Muffet stamp, anything goes and you don't have to follow the challenge.  See details of the challenge and enter on the LMM Blog.

This is my last post as a Guest Designer for Little Miss Muffet for the months of October and November.  They have very cute stamps - both rubber and digis, a great design team, and a fabulous owner.  It has been a joy to be a part of their team during these months.

Hung on a Tree

One more Christmas card for this month.  This stamp set, one of the RRD featured stamps, is called Hung on a Tree.  There is a pretty Christmas tree also in this set.  I chose to use the poinsettias.  The background is Spellbinders Fancy Lattice die cut.  I've used green and red Bazzil cardstock, and white cardstock for the sentiment.  The image and sentiment are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The poinsettias are colored with Copics:  R24, R27, R59, YR23, YR24.

Hope you have enjoyed Red Rubber Designs Christmas creations this month.  Be sure to check out the blog posts of the other designers to see them all.  (They are listed on the right side-bar).

Christmas Fun Tumbled Marble Tiles gift

Christmas Fun is the stamp set I used to make these tumbled marble coasters.  I've shown coasters before, and they are one of my favorite things to make for gifts.  I stamped the images with Stazon Black ink, colored them in with Fabrico Markers and then heat set them with a Heat Tool.  The white on Santa and the stocking is Stazon white re-inker.  The tiles are sprayed lightly with a Krylon Clear Mat Finish.  A cork coaster is glued to the back of each coaster.

What kinds of crafty gifts are you making for Christmas?  Check out the Christmas Featured Stamps at Red Rubber Designs and grab your ink pads.  It is time to gets those gifts made.
