Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Textiles

The Little Miss Muffet challenge this week is Textiles.  That means using any kind of fabric on the project - material, ribbon, twine, felt, etc.  I had a crinkly wide ribbon that I thought would fit nicely as a background and also as a bow.  I've used the LMM rubber stamp  Cinnamon as my focal image and a sentiment Gift With Purchase stamp from TAC.

The stamped image is cut with Spellbinders Labels Twenty.  The background cardstock is from a pad of Authentique Essentials CollectionAnd the bow is wrapped with Tawny Scrappers Spool.  I added three turquoise jewels.  The image is colored with Copics (BG01, BG07, BG18, BG57, BG75, YR23, E35, E37, E21, E00, E01, E13, BV02, RV23, E71, E74, C1, C3)

Hopefully you will join us for our Textiles challenge on the Little Miss Muffet blog.  The challenge is open to any images, but if you use a LMM image, anything goes.  You don't even have to follow the challenge of Textiles.  Barbara, the owner, is out of town for a few days.  So please note the following:

1. As Digi orders will be slightly delayed, all digi orders will receive a new unrevealed, winter themed digi image

2. Rubber and Diecut orders will be shipped out on 27th November, and will receive a free sentiment stamp. Choose from Royal Decree or Sugar & Spice Sentiment. Please e-mail Barbara with your choice of free stamp at the time of ordering

With His Glory

With His Glory is another Featured Stamp this month at Red Rubber Designs. I've used a piece of burlap fabric in the background over the gold Bazzil cardstock.  The image is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copics E11, E13, E15, E17, E19, E21, YG09, Y38, R27, C1, C5.  I used yellow Stickles on the fringe of his halter (or whatever it is called on a reindeer!).  Red jewels are added to embellish the card slightly.

Here's a close-up view.

Having a Ball

These little mice are having a ball with Christmas decorating.  They are cute, aren't they? They are called Havin' a Ball.  I stamped the images on Copic XPress cardstock and cut them out with Spellbinders Labels Fourteen.  They are matted on lavendar cardstock.  The background paper is Genevieve from RRD.  The base card is dark purple.  The ornament has 3 red jewels on the stars.

Twinkle in the Eye Blog Hop and Contest

It's November and we have a month of "Holidays in Winter" stamps at Red Rubber Designs.  Twinkle in the Eye is our Spotlight Stamp,  and you can get it for 40% off this month.  I love this vintage collage stamp.

I've colored the image with Copic markers and sponged Reflection Blue Palette Ink on the background.  Then I sprayed the image with Sparkle Shimmer Spray to make it glisten.

The background paper is Catelyn Patterned Cardstock.  And I've used black cardstock for matting of both the stamp and the sentiment.  The sentiment is from the RRD stamp set, Joy and Peace.

The white scalloped edge is cut with with a Creative Memories Scallop edger and then embossed with a Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing Folder.
Copics used:  R89, R85, E01, E11, E13, E15, G46, B00, B37, N4

Now for the contest.

Guess the number of snowflakes in the above picture.  Only one guess is allowed and should be sent to contest@RedRubberDesigns.com  One winner will be chosen from the correct answers.  If there is no correct guess, the person who comes the closest will receive the Spotlight Stamp, Twinkle in the Eye.  In case of a tie, a random draw will take place between those who tie.

I know you will want to see what the RRD Design Team has each created with this stamp.  Here is the Blog Hop order:

CDAC Progressive Challenge - Rose Teapot

I made this card for the current CDAC Progressive Challenge.  In fact, my card was selected as a Star on the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge.  The digi stamp is Rose Teapot  from Priscilla Styles Store.  For the challenge, she also provided us with a matching freebie cup.  I love these digis.  They make such an elegant card, which I will use for a special friend's birthday.

The background paper I've used is More Mimi from Red Rubber Designs.  I cut out the teapot and cups and placed them over a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares die cut.  Real lace is also in the background under the image, and I added pearls to accent it.

Copics for coloring:  YG41, YG45, R81, R83, R85, R59, E0000, E000, E00, E01, C3, C5.

Little Miss Muffet- "Inspired By" Challenge

This Little Miss Muffet Challenge is inspired by these fireworks photos.

I chose to use a Sizzix Embossing Folder to give a "feel" for fireworks.  After embossing the pink cardstock, I sprayed it with Sparkle Shimmer Spritz, painted the rays with Sparkle Smooch and then added Pink Stickles - all to give it sparkle.

I have used Pollycraft Swings and Slides Butterflies, one of the new LMM releases last month, as my image.  With an inside saying, I'm making this a birthday card.  She is colored with Copic Markers and cut out with Spellbinders Labels Ten Nestablities.  The cardstock is pink PaperTrey Ink and Bazill aqua and Copic XPress white.  I added a white organza ribbon that I colored with Copic BG13.

Here's a close-up view.

As always, we invite you to join the challenge and upload your card at the LMM Blog.  All the details are there.  You could be a random winner, so come participate in the fun.

Thanks for looking at my blog.
