Red Rubber Designs Marvelous You

Today I'm showing you a birthday card using a scenic stamp called Marvelous YouWhen first looking at this stamp it is intimidating to think how to color it, but Copic markers blend so well together and give it a natural effect when completed.  I used some Colorless blender techniques to lift off some of the color on the grass and the sky to create interesting texture effects.

The patterned paper is from the Just Like Dad Paper Stack from Red Rubber Designs, and I used a solid dark blue base card.  Buttons and thread finish off the embellishments.

Don't you think this stamp makes a nice man-card?  It is available at a discount this month as one of the RRD featured stamps.  Check it out at the RRD Store.

Thanks for stopping by my blog to look.
Blessings, Paula-Kay

  6. Such a beautifully colored image, Paula-Kay. I especially like the matting - the DP is perfectly colored for your artwork. It's a wonderful masculine card, without being brown LOL I'm following you on pinterest! Love the "for the home" section, too.
